On March 21, 2019, Zhou Xiaofang, co-founder of the Zhou Enlai Peace Institute in America, visited the Shanghai Academy. The two groups had previously held cooperation and exchange meetings, on topics including promotion of the peaceful development of China-US relations, and sponsoring friendship exchanges between China and the United States. They also visited the Vancouver Film Academy.
Also attending the event were Michael North, co-founder of the Zhou Enlai Peace Institute and Chairman of Asia Pacific Group; Roger Epstein, General Counsel of Asia Pacific Group; Lin Fanlin, General Manager of China Translation Association Service Committee; Shanghai Academy Director Zhao Kebin; Li Chunguang, Deputy Director of the Cooperation Department, and Zhao Xueyan, Director of the Cooperation Department.
